Partners Design had the pleasure of working with Harvard professor Amy Cuddy to design the cover for her first book, Presence. The book is a New York Times Best Seller and has been translated into 34 languages.
“Bringing your boldest self to your biggest challenges” is the theme of her book. Her study found that power posing leads to stronger “feelings of power”. A push puppet is the perfect visual to represent this idea. With hands raised high above its head, the puppet transforms into its boldest self.
Color and font choice are a critical part of any design. When used correctly, they will support and accentuate the overall concept.
